Her work centers on placemaking—transforming sites into cohesive, visually compelling environments that balance planning, sustainability, and user experience. Mary specializes in streetscapes, pedestrian networks, open space systems, and amenity-rich environments that support community activity and connection. She has extensive experience across commercial and retail developments, corporate campuses, and mixed-use projects, where she designs outdoor spaces that serve as extensions of the built environment—integrating gathering areas, pedestrian circulation, and landscape features that enhance both daily use and overall project identity.

Mary’s approach blends creativity with technical precision, integrating landscape design with stormwater systems, grading, and environmental constraints to deliver solutions that are both visually compelling and highly functional. Her use of native and adaptive plantings, resilient design strategies, and thoughtful material selection supports sustainability while ensuring long-term durability and ease of maintenance.

She works closely with clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies to carry design intent through permitting and into construction—maintaining a strong focus on quality, detail, and sustainability. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, is a Professional Landscape Architect, and Accredited Nursery Professional.
