Our wetland scientists, ecologists, and soil scientists identify jurisdictional coastal and inland wetlands and watercourses at the local, state, and federal levels. We conduct vernal pool, soil, wildlife, and vegetation surveys; prepare regulatory documentation; design wetland mitigation; and guide clients through permitting processes across many states. With a strong understanding of the relationship between ecological and community considerations (i.e. societal values), we help clients navigate proposed landscape improvements by developing innovative solutions that support both responsible development and environmental stewardship.

Our experienced staff prepares comprehensive permit matrices covering federal, state, and local requirements, as well as environmental documents such as Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Impact Statements. Our staff has permitted renewable energy projects (solar/battery energy storage systems/offshore and onshore wind), utility transmission, pipelines, large and small multimodal transportation projects (roads, bridges, rail, multi-use trails), and commercial developments. We also provide regulatory permit compliance, inspection, and soil erosion & sedimentation control monitoring.
Solli’s team develops strategic mitigation and restoration solutions that improve habitat quality, strengthen ecosystem function, and give clients the confidence to move projects forward. We collaborate closely with regulators to implement a wide range of mitigation strategies, including in-lieu fee programs, wetland restoration and enhancement, and the creation of diverse wetland habitats—carefully aligning regulatory requirements with client objectives. We provide ongoing monitoring, data collection and analysis, vegetation assessments, invasive species management, and reporting to deliver clear insight into site performance and support long-term compliance with permit conditions.
