Prior to joining Solli Engineering, environmental staff managed a Task Order Contract for Environmental Planning Studies with the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT), supporting bridge, rail, culvert, and conservation program projects. Responsibilities included natural resource delineation, listed endangered, threatened and sensitive species surveys, environmental permitting support, management of a statewide candidate species for listing program, and scoping for significant dredging activities.
In addition to work with CTDOT, staff managed and contributed to projects with several other state transportation agencies, including the Rhode Island Department of Transportation on large bridge and transit NEPA projects, the New Jersey Department of Transportation on bridge and transit initiatives, the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority (NNEPRA) Downeaster service improvement project, and multiple Florida Department of Transportation infrastructure projects. Surveys have included seagrass, gopher tortoise, American kestrel while supporting ecological restoration and habitat management activities.
